Has a new dimension of tech industry sexism opened?
In their latest offering, purveyors of technical training General Assembly asks you to “meet Tia.” A black and white of her from the nose up sits atop the text, and she is the epitome of the technical pretty girl. Her eyes are turned upward and to the left at a cluster of technical symbols, and I read the expression as one of lust for what’s symbolized. Maybe just awe.
So, she likes what you do, and so you have a better chance of seeing what lies below her nose.
Using a sex lure? I believe we have a twenty-first century, precise for the time, Murphy Game.
If I was thirty years younger, I might have signed up for the course.
